A chilling discovery rocked the tranquil shores of Key Biscayne on Tuesday morning. A human head washed up on the beach behind the Key Colony II Ocean Sound condominium building.
Local authorities, including Miami-Dade police homicide detectives, swiftly responded to the scene. The remains were covered with a blue tarp and the area cordoned off with yellow crime scene tape.
Residents and beachgoers expressed shock and concern over the gruesome find. One resident described the incident as “highly unusual” and “disturbing.”
As investigations continue, authorities are working to identify the victim and determine the cause of death.
