Let’s see how great this place is to hang out and see the world!

The Tony Hotel South Beach is a good example of an Art Deco-style building that can be found along Collins Avenue and Ocean Drive. The signature style of architect L. Murray Dixon, which was on display in this building, was characterized by streamlined curves and jutting towers, as well as window “eyebrows” and neon lights. The original name of this hotel is The Tiffany, which was subsequently renamed The Hotel of South Beach. This historic hotel has the iconic “Tiffany” spire that is a well-known landmark in Miami. It stands over Collins Avenue and has done so for more than 80 years In 1998, fashion designer Todd Oldham was enlisted to completely transform the hotel into a cozy mix of rich and warm colors, shapes, and textures. The result was a carbon copy of the Art Deco era. Tony Goldman bought and methodically restored many properties in his lifetime, including this hotel.

The iconic Tony Hotel South Beach, formerly known as The Hotel of South Beach, was renamed in honor of Tony Goldman in 2022 on his 10th-year death anniversary, a tribute to his dedication by his family who still owns and operates the hotel. Goldman, a renowned city-placemaker and historic preservationist, restored the hotel to its original glory and is widely credited with revitalizing the area during the 1980s and 1990s.

The hotel offers 73 rooms and suites, including 20 new Ocean Drive rooms, which offer stylish elegance and the ultimate in luxurious pampering. Guests can expect to enjoy free Wi-Fi connection, beachside chaise lounges, and White Company of London products in their bathrooms. This little-known hotel is tucked away on the corner of Ocean Drive and Collins Avenue but offers a surprisingly spacious stay with a no-nonsense ambiance. The Hotel takes great pride in the fact that all of its guest rooms are completely non-smoking and are furnished with all the latest technologies, including flat-screen TVs. The hotel also features custom-made furniture and rain-head showers. The hotel also offers all guests access to an on-site fitness studio, which is equipped with all of the latest workout equipment for the duration of their stay.

This special gem perfectly encapsulates the character of this iconic South Beach retreat, from its ocean-view rooftop pool and carefully maintained architectural Art Deco of the 1930s, to a restaurant that features an eclectic menu that highlights Floridian cuisine as well as international fare. Guests can also unwind with a refreshing cocktail while soaking in the views from our rooftop bar and lounge.

The Tony Hotel South Beach is located in one of the most desirable locations for the discerning traveler. The hotel is situated only steps away from some of Miami’s most famous places, with charming cafes, luxurious boutique shops, and a variety of recreational activities all within minutes of the hotel. The Versace Mansion, Lummus Park, and more are all within walking distance from this exquisite hotel.
