A motorcyclist died Saturday morning in a crash on a ramp from the southbound lanes of the Florida Turnpike near Hard Rock Stadium in Miami-Dade County. The incident occurred around 8:10 a.m. on the exit ramp to Northwest 199th Street in Miami Gardens.
Florida Highway Patrol spokesperson Lt. Alex Camacho confirmed the fatal crash and stated that the investigation was ongoing Saturday afternoon. Details about the cause of the crash or the motorcyclist’s identity have not been released.
The fatality adds to a series of recent traffic-related incidents in the region, with authorities urging drivers to exercise caution in the area as the investigation continues.
