A fire broke out at a downtown Miami high-rise on Tuesday morning, sending smoke pouring from the building as emergency crews rushed to the scene. Miami police assisted Miami Fire Rescue with traffic control near South 3rd Street and South Miami Avenue while fire crews worked to contain the blaze.
The fire was reported at the Wind Condominium, though authorities did not immediately confirm any injuries.
Footage shared by a resident shows heavy smoke billowing from one of the units, while another angle captures water dripping from a balcony. Firefighters were on-site quickly to address the situation, but further details on the extent of the damage or cause of the fire were not immediately released.
