MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — A woman was found dead Saturday morning along an I-95 ramp in northern Miami-Dade County. Police discovered her body near Ives Dairy Road, covered by a yellow tarp, after responding to a homicide investigation at Northeast 203rd Street.
The Florida Highway Patrol closed the ramp to assist Miami-Dade homicide detectives with their investigation. The woman’s identity has not been released.
Later that day, Miramar Police apprehended a suspect following a pursuit in Broward County. The chase ended in a crash at Miramar Parkway and Red Road, where one person was injured. Authorities are still working to link the suspect to the homicide, and the Miami-Dade Police Department is handling the case.
