Two Israeli reservists were killed in southern Lebanon within 24 hours despite an active ceasefire. Sgt. First Class Lidor Porat, 31, died Saturday when his engineering vehicle rolled over a Hezbollah-planted bomb. Nine others were wounded. A day earlier, Warrant Officer Barak Kalfon, 48, was killed when an explosive detonated during a weapons sweep in the village of Jebbayn. The IDF struck multiple targets following each incident. The deaths bring Lebanon’s toll to 15 Israeli soldiers since the current fighting began. Meanwhile, Kiryat Shmona launched a municipal strike protesting the ceasefire, with residents arguing the truce ended before Hezbollah was genuinely neutralized.
