TikTok Influencer Girlalala Fatally Shot; Boyfriend Charged With Murder

Newly released arrest documents reveal disturbing details in the killing of TikTok influencer Girlalala — known offline as 21-year-old Maurice Harrison — who was found shot multiple times in a car in Lauderdale Lakes.

Harrison, a transgender hairstylist from Pompano Beach with a large social media following, was discovered around 7 p.m. Friday after deputies were flagged down by her boyfriend, 25-year-old Shanoyd Whyte Jr. He led officers to a beige Chevy Malibu where Harrison lay in a pool of blood, soaked through the seat and pooling onto the floor.

Whyte, now charged with first-degree murder, told detectives the pair argued frequently and had fought several times earlier that day. He claimed their final dispute began when “the victim pulled his hair,” but refused to explain how the gun inside the car was fired.

Surveillance video appears to show their last moments together: Whyte steps out of the car holding what looks like a gun, while Harrison leans out of the passenger door. The footage shows him placing her back into the car, pacing anxiously, then calling 911.

Fans have since resurfaced past videos hinting that the relationship was volatile, including clips where Harrison appeared with facial injuries and referenced frequent fights.

Whyte remains in custody as the investigation continues.
