Three men were arrested following an armed robbery and shooting at a Miami Design District clothing store, while the alleged shooter remains unidentified, police said.

According to Miami Police, the incident occurred Saturday at a Supreme store, where a man was shot in the stomach after his $22,000 gold chain was stolen. The victim was transported to the hospital and is expected to survive.

Police charged Jamar McKay, 25, with armed robbery with a firearm; Omarion Phillips, 20, with being an accessory; and Kevieon Smith, 21, with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and resisting an officer.

The victim told officers he recognized the suspects from previous encounters and said an argument escalated before McKay allegedly ripped the chain from his neck. As the victim chased McKay, an unidentified suspect fired the shot.

The suspects fled in a white Mercedes-Benz, which detectives later located abandoned near Northwest 91st Terrace. Officers tracked the men to a nearby residence, where they were taken into custody. Police recovered the stolen chain, car keys, and clothing worn during the robbery.

McKay was denied bond. Phillips received a $7,500 bond, while Smith’s bond was set at $7,501. The alleged shooter has not yet been identified.
