A 27-year-old man was arrested for stabbing a mail carrier in a road-rage attack in Biscayne Park. Valentino Jlil is facing charges of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon after allegedly confronting and stabbing a 60-year-old postal worker on July 21.
According to police, the altercation began when the mail truck unintentionally cut off Jlil’s scooter. Jlil allegedly blocked the truck, shouted obscenities, and physically attacked the carrier. The mailman defended himself but later realized he’d been stabbed in the chest.
Officers found Jlil nearby, holding a knife and bleeding from a cut. A judge denied bond, calling the incident “unfortunately too common.”
