As 2025 comes to a close, South Florida is offering no shortage of ways to welcome the new year — many of them completely free. From major concerts to family-friendly countdowns, Miami-Dade and Broward counties are hosting celebrations for every type of reveler.

Miami-Dade County

Countdown Miami at Bayfront Park
One of the region’s largest New Year’s Eve parties returns to Bayfront Park with live music, food vendors and a midnight fireworks show. Doors open at 5 p.m., and the night features performances by Nicky Jam, Marshmello, Flo Rida, Gente de Zona and Toño Rosario. While general admission is free, VIP upgrades are available for premium viewing areas and private bars.

Orchestra Miami New Year’s Eve Celebration
Miami Beach will host a free, family-friendly concert featuring a 42-piece, Grammy-nominated Orchestra Miami, joined by special guest PALO! performing Cuban salsa and Latin jazz. The concert begins at 8 p.m. and leads into a fireworks display at midnight.

Broward County

Fort Lauderdale Orange Bowl Downtown Countdown
This free street festival begins at 4:30 p.m. with activities for kids, including bounce houses and an early countdown at 6:55 p.m. The nighttime celebration includes live music and a performance by Phillip Phillips, capped off with the iconic illuminated anchor drop at midnight.

Miramar New Year’s Eve: Countdown to 2026
Miramar Regional Park hosts a full day of celebrations, starting with a kids’ ball drop at noon and continuing into a nighttime fireworks show at midnight. Entry is free, with $10 parking. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets.
