‘Real Housewives’ Star Arrested on Secret Recording Charges

Lisa Hochstein, a cast member on Real Housewives of Miami, surrendered to Miami-Dade authorities Wednesday on a felony charge of intercepting communications — accused of secretly recording her ex-husband, prominent plastic surgeon Lenny Hochstein.

Hochstein, 43, was booked at Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center and released on her own recognizance. Her attorney called the matter “part of a contentious divorce proceeding” that doesn’t belong in criminal court.

The charges stem from a 2023 incident in which Lenny Hochstein discovered a digital audio recorder in his Mercedes after lending it to his ex-wife. Police reviewed the device and found 98 recordings, including one capturing what investigators described as the sound of the recorder being placed. Recordings included conversations with patients, family members, and a female companion.

Amazon records allegedly showed her boyfriend, Jody Glidden, had purchased two identical recording devices months earlier. Glidden was arrested last week, released on $5,000 bond, and entered a not guilty plea.

Florida is an all-parties consent state, making it illegal to record private conversations without everyone’s knowledge. Lisa and Lenny were married 13 years and share two children.
