Despite heavy rain and flooded streets on the final day of the Ultra Music Festival in Miami, the event carried on as planned. Attendees and drivers faced challenging conditions on Sunday, but thunderstorms and rising water didn’t put a damper on the festival’s energy.
Miami Fire Rescue confirmed there were no weather-related incidents. While the festival was briefly paused as a precaution, no evacuations were necessary.
Compared to last year, when rain disrupted and ultimately cut short the first day, this year’s event remained mostly unaffected. Festivalgoers remained unfazed by the weather.
“I come from London to Ultra, and I’m not letting the weather stop me,” one attendee told NBC6.
As of now, Ultra Music Festival continues as scheduled, proving that neither rain nor storms can dampen the spirit of electronic dance music fans.
