Parade & Celebration Time
The parade starts at noon along A1A, from Riomar Street to SE 5th Street, with a ceremony at 1:30 p.m. near Fort Lauderdale Beach Park.
Road Closures & Traffic
Expect major closures starting at 8 a.m.:
- Northbound A1A and nearby streets from Vistamar to SE 5th Street
- East Las Olas Blvd (eastbound) reduced to one lane
- SE 17th Street and A1A near Sunrise Blvd down to one lane each direction
Severe congestion is expected—plan ahead.
Transportation Tips
To avoid traffic:
- Use rideshare, bike, or carpool
- Take the Water Taxi from downtown or the convention center (buy tickets early)
- Use the free Park ‘n Ride shuttles from the Convention Center and Heron Garage (8 a.m. to noon; returns 2–4:30 p.m.)

Downtown garages are offering $10 flat-rate parking. Other options: Galleria Mall, Birch State Park, Bonnet House, and Las Olas Garage.
