One Dead, Six Injured in Rollover Crash on Florida Turnpike in Boynton Beach

A deadly rollover crash on Florida’s Turnpike in Boynton Beach left one person dead and six others hospitalized Saturday morning, according to Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.

Emergency crews responded to reports of a rollover accident along the northbound lanes near Mile Marker 90. Upon arrival, first responders found an SUV and a truck with severe damage and multiple victims at the scene.

Authorities said seven people were involved in the crash. Six victims were transported to nearby hospitals as trauma alerts, while one person was pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause of the crash has not yet been released. Florida Highway Patrol has taken over the investigation and is working to determine what led to the collision.

Traffic in the area was impacted for several hours as crews worked to clear the wreckage and investigate. Officials have not released the identities of those involved.

The investigation remains ongoing.
