Officer Struck by Off-Road Vehicle at Pinecrest Gas Station

A police officer was injured Saturday when struck by an off-road vehicle at a gas station near 104th Street and US1 in Pinecrest.

Multiple ATV-type vehicles were seen at the scene and fled before law enforcement arrived. Preliminary reports say three suspects were arrested, but others remain at large.

Several law enforcement agencies are now working together to investigate the incident and identify all individuals involved.

The injured officer was taken to the hospital and is currently listed in stable condition.

The use of illegal off-road vehicles on public streets has become a growing concern across South Florida, with calls for stricter enforcement and community awareness.
