A dramatic doorbell video captured the moment a small plane crashed into a Pembroke Pines neighborhood Sunday evening, narrowly missing homes and cars. The Cessna Skymaster went down around 8:10 p.m. near SW 14th Street and 68th Boulevard, just one mile short of the North Perry Airport runway.
The crash injured four people — a pilot and three passengers, including two minors, aged 13 and 16. Remarkably, all walked away with only cuts and bruises.
Footage shows the plane hitting a tree before crashing to the ground. Neighbors quickly rushed to the scene to help, stunned the aircraft hadn’t exploded. “The blessing is that nobody was killed,” one local said.
The FAA and NTSB are investigating the cause of the crash.
