A Miami woman has been arrested after allegedly fatally shooting 50-year-old Abdul S. Rolle inside a smoke shop early Tuesday morning near Northwest 27th Avenue and 45th Street. Miami-Dade deputies responded shortly before 6 a.m. after a ShotSpotter alert detected five gunshots.

Officers found Rolle on the floor with multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center but later died.

According to the arrest report, suspect Flanders visited the store to buy narcotics. After purchasing the drugs, she and Rolle got into a heated argument over their quality. Flanders left the store, pulled out a gun, and fired through the front door, striking Rolle inside. Surveillance footage from a nearby business captured the incident.

Upon arrest, Flanders denied shooting Rolle but was taken into custody and booked into jail. The investigation remains ongoing.
