A Miami Lakes man faces serious charges after a road rage incident turned violent. Danny Michel Casavilla-Garcia, 47, was arrested on Monday after allegedly shooting at two individuals who confronted him about taking photos of their cars.
The incident occurred in a shopping plaza parking lot. Surveillance footage shows Casavilla-Garcia firing multiple shots at the victims, striking one in the pelvis and damaging the other’s vehicle.
The motive for the shooting remains unclear, but police believe alcohol may have played a role. Casavilla-Garcia is currently in custody facing charges including attempted murder and armed criminal mischief.
