Miami Gardens Woman Charged With Murder After Domestic Dispute Turns Deadly

A domestic dispute in Miami Gardens turned deadly Friday morning, leaving one man dead and another injured. Police say Shaneeka Harris, 40, has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder following the incident.

According to Miami Gardens Police, officers responded around 6:30 a.m. to a home on the 4600 block of Northwest 193rd Street after reports of a shooting. The altercation allegedly began as a domestic dispute between Harris and her boyfriend. During the confrontation, both Harris’ boyfriend and her adult son were shot.

Both men were rushed to the hospital. The boyfriend later died from his injuries, though police have not yet released his name. The son’s condition remains unknown.

Harris was taken into custody and appeared in court Saturday, where a judge denied her bond. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities have not released details about what led to the gunfire or who fired the shots.
