Miami-Dade County will begin accepting online applications for its Project-Based Voucher (PBV) affordable housing waitlist starting Monday, June 9, 2025, at 8 a.m. The window closes Friday, June 20 at 11:59 p.m.
The PBV program allows eligible low-income residents to apply for housing across multiple county developments. Applications will only be accepted online at miamidadevoucher.myhousing.com in English, Spanish, and Haitian Creole. Only one application per household is allowed.
“This program is just one example of what Miami-Dade County is doing to ensure every resident has access to safe, stable, and affordable housing,” said Mayor Daniella Levine Cava.
Priority placement will be given to applicants from the 2024 Tenant-Based waiting list. New submissions during this Phase Two will be randomized for waitlist placement. Placement is not guaranteed and applicants must meet income and eligibility requirements set by HUD.
For those without internet access, help will be available at select libraries and Community Action and Human Services (CAHSD) locations throughout the county.
To qualify, applicants must be at least 18 years old and provide personal information for all household members, including names, birth dates, Social Security numbers, veteran status, and special needs.
Household income limits range from $43,400 for a single person to $81,800 for a family of eight.
Eligible groups include displaced families, veterans, referrals from the Homeless Trust, and those with disabilities or special needs.
