Miami-Dade County will open applications for its Project-Based Voucher (PBV) affordable housing waitlist starting Monday, June 9, 2025, at 8 a.m., and closing Friday, June 20 at 11:59 p.m.
The PBV program helps low-income residents apply for housing in multiple affordable developments across the county. Applications must be submitted online at miamidadevoucher.myhousing.com and are available in English, Spanish, and Haitian Creole. Only one application per household is allowed.
Applicants must be at least 18 and provide key details for all household members, including names, Social Security numbers, veteran and disability status, and unit accessibility needs. Income limits range from $43,400 for a one-person household to $81,800 for a household of eight, based on HUD guidelines.
Priority will be given to those who applied during the program’s earlier phase, but all eligible Phase Two applicants will be entered into a computer-generated lottery. Note: placement on the waitlist is not guaranteed.
Assistance is available at select public libraries and Community Action and Human Services (CAHSD) centers for those without internet access. Locations include the Main Library in Downtown Miami, North Dade Regional Library, and several CAHSD offices across the county.
Mayor Daniella Levine Cava said, “This program is one example of how we’re ensuring access to safe, stable, and affordable housing for all residents.”
Applicants must meet eligibility criteria, including income, household type (elderly, disabled, family), and special categories like veterans, displaced households, and those with special needs.
