Man Arrested After Shooting Outside West Park Club

A man was arrested early Saturday in connection with a shooting outside the Playhouse Gentlemen’s Club in West Park, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office.

The suspect, 28-year-old Akheem Omarie Mahabie, was taken into custody at the scene. Thankfully, no injuries were reported.

Deputies responded quickly after receiving reports of gunfire outside the club. An active investigation is still underway to determine the motive and whether others were involved.

Authorities urge anyone with more information to come forward as they continue piecing together the events of the night.
