Justin Bieber Reveals Delivery-Room Tension During Hailey’s Labor

Justin Bieber is opening up about the emotional turmoil he experienced during the birth of his and Hailey Bieber’s son, Jack Blues Bieber, now 15 months old. Speaking on an Oct. 27 Twitch livestream, Justin recalled a tense clash between the doula, the nurse — and himself.

According to Justin, the nurse and doula “were butting heads,” and the conflict escalated when Justin began challenging the doula as well. “I was hella emotional,” he admitted, describing the birth of his first child as overwhelming. He felt that his instincts as a first-time father were being dismissed, and at one point he told the doula, “I got this too… I need to console Hailey.”

Hailey, however, was not happy about how Justin handled the situation and urged him to apologize and “clear the air.”

Hailey has since spoken publicly about the difficult birth, revealing in Vogue that she was medically induced, labored for 18 hours without an epidural, and endured a painful Foley balloon insertion. She also experienced a dangerous postpartum hemorrhage. “I trust my doctor with my life,” she said, acknowledging the frightening moment when she began bleeding heavily.

Despite the challenges, Hailey said giving birth was “the hardest thing I’ve ever done,” but also the moment she felt physically strongest.
