Hot Start to the Week Before a Cool Down

After a record-breaking Sunday, Monday is shaping up to be another hot one. Strong southwest winds will keep temperatures soaring, though some cloud cover from an approaching cold front may limit the heat slightly. Even so, mid-80s are a sure bet, with upper-80s to near 90 possible if enough sunshine breaks through. High humidity will make it feel even warmer.

Big changes arrive Monday evening as the cold front moves in, bringing cooler temperatures and lower humidity. Morning lows will dip into the upper-50s, with highs reaching the upper-70s on Tuesday and Wednesday. By the end of the week, temperatures will climb back into the 80s, settling in the mid-80s for the weekend.
