One person was killed and three others hospitalized Tuesday afternoon following a violent three-car collision in Deerfield Beach, Florida.
The Broward Sheriff’s Office responded around 1:45 p.m. to the 4400 block of Northeast Third Avenue. Aerial footage showed one vehicle flipped onto its roof, another with severe front-end damage, and a third pushed against a nearby house. Debris was scattered across the roadway.
The identity of the deceased was not released. One neighbor told NBC6 that his 73-year-old roommate was involved and taken to the hospital but was expected to recover. Another resident described the impact as unlike anything he had ever heard. Northeast Third Avenue was closed between Northeast 43rd and 48th Streets as investigators worked the scene.
