Broward County Public Schools has opened a second late-application window for its School Choice program, giving families another opportunity to request a transfer to a school outside their home district boundary for the upcoming academic year.
Applications are being accepted from Monday, June 8 through July 16. Families can apply for general reassignment, magnet programs, or Nova schools with available seats.
The original open enrollment window ran from November 2025 through January 2026. A first late-application period has already passed, and families should be aware that submitting a new application now will overwrite any application submitted during that first late window — though it will not affect applications submitted during the original open enrollment period.
All applications must be submitted through the BCPS Focus Parent Portal.
