The Class of 2026 at American Heritage School — with campuses in Delray Beach and Plantation — has posted some of the strongest college placement numbers in the school’s history. More than 524 seniors earned acceptances to Top 30 universities, with 53 heading to Ivy League institutions. Individual highlights include 18 acceptances to UCLA, 16 each to Cornell and Carnegie Mellon, 12 each to Rice and UC Berkeley, and five to Stanford. Harvard, Princeton, Yale, and Duke also appear on the list.

The class achieved an 87-student National Merit Semifinalist count, maintaining American Heritage’s standing as the top school in Florida and second-ranked private school nationally for that distinction — for the 16th consecutive year. The cohort pulled in over $127 million in scholarship offers and posted a 95 percent AP exam pass rate.

Niche.com ranked the school the number one private K-12 and college prep institution in Florida. “The Class of 2026 is truly a coast-to-coast cohort,” said school president Dr. Doug Laurie.
