Former NFL quarterback Teddy Bridgewater has been suspended from his coaching role at Miami Northwestern High School amid an investigation into alleged rule violations. According to the Miami Herald, Bridgewater is being probed for providing players with transportation, meals, and other benefits.
Bridgewater responded publicly, saying, “We self-reported,” and argued he’s being unfairly treated. He emphasized his commitment to the school, vowing to stay involved even if only as a volunteer.
A Miami native, Bridgewater led Northwestern to a state championship last season. He’s currently a free agent after a brief stint with the Detroit Lions.
