Starting Monday, June 9, 2025, Miami-Dade County will open the application window for its Project-Based Voucher (PBV) affordable housing program. The online-only application period runs through Friday, June 20 at 11:59 p.m.
The PBV program allows low-income households to apply for affordable housing at various county developments. Applicants must apply online at miamidadevoucher.myhousing.com, available in English, Spanish, and Haitian Creole. Only one application per household is allowed.
Eligibility includes income limits set by HUD—for example, $43,400 for a single-person household or $61,950 for a family of four—and meeting criteria like disability, veteran status, or being referred by the Homeless Trust. Priority will be given to those already on the 2024 Tenant-Based waiting list.
Assistance for those without internet access is available at libraries and Community Action and Human Services locations across the county, including the Downtown Main Library and the Miami Beach Regional Library.
“Access to affordable housing is essential for the well-being and stability of our residents,” said Mayor Daniella Levine Cava.
Placement on the waitlist is not guaranteed, and all applicants will be randomized for selection. Learn more at the county’s website and review the full list of eligible properties before applying.
