A five-month investigation by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office has led to the arrest of 13 individuals tied to the Latin Kings gang. Dubbed “Operation No Good Secrets,” the operation targeted gang-related drug trafficking and criminal activity across multiple Florida counties.
Among those arrested were seven confirmed gang members, four associates, and two others linked to the group’s criminal operations. Authorities executed four search warrants in Tampa, Brandon, Pasco County, and Secrets Gentlemen’s Club in Town ‘n’ Country, a location where undercover officers conducted several drug buys.
The operation uncovered a significant cache of narcotics, including 1.4 kg of methamphetamine, 1.1 kg of cocaine, 262 grams of fentanyl, 682 Xanax pills, and other illegal substances. Officers also seized five firearms—one a sawed-off shotgun and another with a defaced serial number—along with $14,600 in cash, a Latin Kings manifesto, and a 2021 BMW SUV.
Key figures arrested include Ian Dunn, 30, and Julian Finlay, 39, identified as primary drug suppliers, and Jovani Latalladi, 43, a five-time convicted felon and known gang member, charged with trafficking and weapons possession.
Sheriff Chad Chronister emphasized the severity of the gang’s impact, citing violence, addiction, and community devastation. “They don’t just deal in drugs and weapons; they deal in devastation,” he said, adding that more arrests may follow as the investigation continues.
