The Broward County School Board has approved the academic calendar for the 2025-2026 school year. School will begin on August 11, 2025, and end on June 3, 2026.
Key dates include Thanksgiving Break from November 24-28, 2025, and a two-week Winter Break from December 22, 2025, to January 2, 2026. Spring Break is scheduled for March 16-20, 2026.
The calendar also includes teacher planning days, early release days, and holidays. It provides up to five days for severe weather makeup if needed.
